Ms. Sanders also has extensive experience in raising capital through public and private equity offerings, as well as in SEC reporting and investor relations. Prior to InnWorks, Ms. Sanders worked in commercial banking and equipment leasing. Ms. Sanders earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University and her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
In 2007, Ms. Sanders founded Pinewell Capital, a real estate investment and development firm which is currently engaged in the development of a 22,000-acre tract in southeastern North Carolina. Ms. Sanders also serves as a Director of Matsui Nursery, the world's largest commercial orchid producer, and Director of the Matsui Foundation, a private non-profit organization that awards college scholarships to graduating seniors in the Salinas Valley (California).
